PALFINGER participated for the third time in the environmental performance assessment of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP). In 2018, PALFINGER obtained a climate scoring level C. Therefore, we are in the "Awareness" category.

On monday, February 18, we will publish our Integrated Annual Report for 2018. We are looking forward to showing what we have accomplished last year and how we advanced our sustainability management.

Today, on the 70th anniversary of the proclamation of the Universal Human Rights, we want to dedicate this blog article to the topic. PALFINGER attaches great importance to human rights, especially by including it in its Code of Conduct.

The fifth and last post in the blog series revolves around SDG 10: Reduced inequalities. It advocates the reduction of inequalities within and between countries.

On November 21st, Hannes Hemetsberger accepted the certificate as „GREEN BRANDS Austria“ for PALFINGER. For the third time we are filled with pride to receive this appreciation of our ecological and social commitment over the years.

Already 5 years in a row PALFINGER won the first place of the ASRA (Austrian Sustainability Reporting Award) in the category of “Integrated Annual and Sustainability Report”. This confirms our efforts in sustainability reporting.

The explanatory video of the Code of Conduct gives an insight into PALFINGER’s self-imposed practices. Since 2010, ten principles cover the topics of human rights, working norms, environmental protection and anti-corruption.

SDG 9: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure is committed to promoting industrialization, innovation and infrastructure – taking into account environmental and social aspects.

PALFINGER is sponsoring a cheetah girl in the Salzburg Zoo since End of July. For the next 2 years, we will provide Niara with financial as well as material resources.
