PALFINGER: A Summer Full of Adventures

United efforts for a great summer

Finding activities to fill a nine-week holiday period is a challenge for many families. That is why the market leader for crane and lifting solutions took the initiative together with the municipalities of Bergheim and Lengau, along with the Kinderfreunde association in Innviertel, to give employees' children the chance to participate in the “Ferien im Betrieb” scheme at the two PALFINGER sites in Lengau (Upper Austria) and Bergheim (Salzburg). While the fun and games in Lengau last for five weeks, children in Bergheim spend fun-filled summer days with like-minded kids for three weeks. At the heart of the program are activities that kids are sure to get excited about: “The PALFINGER kids aged four to twelve discover exotic animals in the zoo, learn new things at “Haus der Natur” (“House of Nature”), let off steam during active sports afternoons, discover their creative side at didgeridoo workshops or get to know the world of PALFINGER in the recently expanded PALFINGER World,” says Claudia Eigenherr-Tschugmell, Team Lead Global Health Management at PALFINGER and head of the initiative, describing the wide range of activities.
