PALFINGER: Partnerships to Drive Expansion

At the PALFINGER Sales Conference held in Salzburg this week, the Group presented its sales partners with strategies to drive its sales and service activities for the coming years. For three days, around 200 guests from 40 countries in the EMEA region focused on future topics.

Three days, around 200 guests from 40 countries, four venues and more than 1,000 corona tests - that was the scenario of the successful PALFINGER EMEA Sales Conference 2021. PALFINGER sales partners from the economic region Europe-Middle East-Africa (EMEA) met this week for presentations, workshops and an evening program in and around Salzburg in direct contact with PALFINGER. During the event, the technology group presented strategies for strengthening, expanding and digitalizing its sales and service network in the coming years.

Global Reach

“PALFINGER continues to expand and in doing so relies on its strong, international sales partners. The topics of digitalization, sustainability and globalization are shaping our business and generating new solutions that will reach additional markets and customers,” emphasizes Gerhard Sturm, Senior Vice President Global Sales & Service at PALFINGER. “As an export-oriented company, PALFINGER depends on personal contact with our international customers and partners. At the EMEA Sales Conference 2021, we have created exactly this opportunity.” Exports to 130 countries, 34 production sites and the number one position in loader cranes make PALFINGER a global company with its roots in Salzburg. Thanks to strong demand, PALFINGER is targeting a record revenue of EUR 1.75 billion in 2021.

Smooth-running Safety Checks

In order to hold the EMEA Sales Conference despite COVID-19, PALFINGER installed a safety concept that was complex yet highly efficient. This meant that every day each participant was given an antigen test, as were the catering personnel, performers and technicians. Contact tracing and keeping a safe distance provided an additional level of safety to ensure the conference ran smoothly.
