PALFINGER pools its group-wide corporate communications

16.10.2018
  • Corporate Communications, Marketing & Sustainability to be bundled into a single department

The global PALFINGER Group is reorganizing its internal and external communications. “PALFINGER’s successful growth over the last several years has also increased the level of complexity in the Group. Our objective now is to reduce this complexity in all areas so that we can improve our ability to tap market opportunities. This will be reflected in our operating business, as well as in our market presence,” PALFINGER AG CEO Andreas Klauser explains.

Corporate and product communications have now been pooled to create a new department “Corporate Communications, Marketing & Sustainability” in order to streamline communications and better support PALFINGER’s strategy. The new department’s remit will cover internal and external communications, investor relations, brand management, sponsoring, web/mobile and sustainability agendas.

PALFINGER Group Spokesperson Hannes Roither will be heading the new department effective immediately. Mr. Roither has been responsible for corporate communications at PALFINGER since 2000, and together with his team he has been overseeing group sustainability management.

“I am looking forward to the new challenges ahead as well as to the opportunities that this consolidation will bring. Having all of the channels of communication in one place makes it possible for us to implement our policy of “One Company – One Voice”. A uniform and coherent company presence is an essential success factor, which is especially true in times of change,” says Hannes Roither.
